The writing on the wall…. Medicine evolving in the 21st century….

change-management-medicine-bottle-pills-initiative-project-stress-plan-strategy-largeWith the election behind us today, we can all agree that we just witnessed an outcry for sweeping change in America.  One area that is on point with this “change movement” is in westernized healthcare.  Physicians are beginning to transition their medical practices from being solely “condition and solution oriented” to being “wellness focused”.  It’s not enough currently to look at many of the illnesses that are beginning to become so prevalent in our society without trying to understand why…what has changed in the last 30-40 years?  Why is there so much cancer at a younger age?  Why are so many of the neurodegenerative diseases that were once considered unusual becoming almost epidemic? We believe there is a fundamental shift occurring right now in free radical medicine which has indoctrinated an entire generation of people over the last 3 decades into thinking they need to take vitamins to be healthy.  Most of the vitamins many of us are familiar with have little to no science behind them.  An astounding 76% of Americans take a vitamin every day which has resulted in a $36B industry!  Where 30 years ago a vitamin may have been potent enough to neutralize all the free radicals necessary to keep our cells healthy, now that may not be good enough, given all the toxins we are now exposed to on a regular basis.   Free radical medicine is evolving from a directly administered antioxidant philosophy (vitamins) to an approach involving activation of the cellular processes producing antioxidants (Protandim).  We are fortunate to have a new team member interested in the science of nutrigenomics and how this might help his patients achieve a more robust and healthier lifestyle.  Surgeons like Dr. Lanchoney are beginning to see that the healthier their patients are going into surgery, the more likely it is they will have a better result.  Amy and I are very pleased to introduce one of our newest team members, Dr. Thomas Lanchoney of Bryn Mawr PA.

Our own Elite Pro 9 Amy Holmwood spent two days in Chicago, IL with team members Stella Kalfas and Maria Martinez.  All presentations were held in libraries with resounding success and participation from their communities.  This is a great little tidbit of information for those of you wanting to assemble prospects for presentations outside of your home.  The expense is very low and it’s a great way to spread our message to members of the library.  Congratulations to Stella and Maria for a job well done and for the newest team member from Chicago, Hector Concepcion, who will be featured in our next blog.

Update from Lifevantage Elite Academy with Noele and Amy

Thriving while Surviving the Elite Academy/Orlando October 6-9, 2016

A few of us from the Noele and Amy (N & A) team just experienced an exciting Elite Academy where over 3,000 lucky people were able to fly safely into the Disney Coronado Springs Resort October 6-9, 2016.  Because of Hurricane Matthew, there were half of the attendees that were expected and the conference agenda had to be shifted around a bit but Lifevantage pulled it off and it was a smashing success.

The company gave us updates in the following areas:

Science Updates from Executive VP of Research and Development, Dr. Nathalie Cheveaux, Double Board Certified Neuro-Radiologist, Dr. Shaun McKee, and Breast Cancer Pathologist, Dr. Sveta Silverman.  The doctors overviewed the most recently published Protandim peer reviewed studies which are attached here in Dropbox which includes the study published in Cell Aging Magazine which proves that Protandim extends life in male mice.

The newest elite distributors in Lifevantage had a panel discussion providing tips on how to grow our businesses and overcome obstacles and fears.  Elite Pro 7’s Gail Hopen and Dr. Sveta Silverman hit it out of the park and show that commitment to ones dreams to make the world a better place by sharing the Lifevantage story can be extremely rewarding.

They were all filmed on iPhones so the audio is subpar but click below to watch.
